BPSC 70th Result 2025 for Prelims, Merit List Release Soon!

The result for the Combined Competitive Examination (Preliminary) 2024-25 will be released on the official website of the Bihar Public Service Commission. It will be released on the official website as a merit list, which will carry the Roll Number of those aspirants who will be eligible to participate in the Mains.

Candidates who have participated in the BPSC 70th CCE Prelims 2025 should know that the most expected date for release of the result is February 2025, as the evaluation process of answer sheets is all set to be completed by the late week of January 2025. The cut off marks to pass the 70th CCE (Preliminary) 2024-25 with the result. What after the BPSC 70th CCE Prelims Result?

Candidates who have participated in the 70th CCE (Prelims) should know that shortlisted individuals will be called for the second stage of selection process, which is Mains. Following the release of the result, prelims-qualified candidates will have to register for the second stage of selection process.

The registration for 70th CCE (Mains) will begin shortly after the release of the result for Prelims. Individuals should know that the second stage is expected to be administered in the second quarter of 2025, whose exam pattern details are as follows:

  • Mode: Written (subjective), except for the Optional Paper (objective).
  • Duration: 3 hours for each paper.
  • Maximum Marks:
  • General Hindi: 100 (qualifying only).
  • General Studies Paper I: 300.
  • General Studies Paper II: 300.
  • Essay: 300.
  • Optional Subject: 100 (qualifying only).
  • Questions: Descriptive for most papers, objective for Optional Paper.
  • Marking Scheme:
  • General Hindi and Optional Paper are qualifying.
  • Marks from GS Papers I & II and Essay determine the merit list.
  • Medium: Hindi, English, or Urdu.
