The admit card for the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 will be released by the National Testing Agency on the official website in the third week of January 2025. For now, the advance city intimation has been released by the officials, by accessing this document aspirants can check their examination date and city.
It is expected that the admit card for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2025 Session 1 for Paper 1, 2A and 2B will be available on the official website two or three days before. After its release by the NTA, all the candidates will be able to download it by entering their Application Number and Date of Birth.
If you are one of the lakhs of candidates who submitted their application to appear in the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 then you must know that the admit card will not be received by post. After the admit card is released, all applicants have to download it and print it on A4 size paper to carry it to their exam center.

All the candidates who have applied to participate in JEE Main 2025 Session 1 should keep in mind that the admit card will not be released simultaneously for all the exam dates, it will be released gradually, those whose exam is earlier, their admit card will be released first and those whose exam is later, it will be released later.

Exam Schedule
The exam schedule for the JEE (Main) 2025 is announced by the NTA. Candidates who have enrolled to sit in the exam should know that the exam Paper 1 Exam will be administered on 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29 January 2025 with an exam time duration of 03 hours from 09:00 am and 12:00 noon, and 03:00 pm and 06:00 pm across the country.
The JEE Main 2025 Session for Paper 2A and 2B will be administered on January 30, 2025, with an exam duration of 03 hours 30 minutes in a single shift from 03:00 pm to 06:30 pm. Candidates will have reported at the respective exam centre by 08:00 am and 02:00 pm for the examination schedule to be held from 09:00 and 03:00 pm, respectively.
Exam Pattern
The National Testing Agency held the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 for Paper 1 and Paper 2B in the CBT mode, and the Paper 2A will be held in CBT cum Pen and Paper-Based mode. In Paper 1, a total number of 90 MCQs will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, out of which, only 75 will be required to be touched.
In Paper 2A, there will be 82 questions (Mathematics: 30, Aptitude: 50, Drawing: 2); and in Paper 2B, the number of questions will be 105 (Mathematics: 30, Aptitude: 50, Planning-Based: 25). Each question will carry a weightage of 4 marks, there will be negative marking schedule of 1 mark only for MCQs.
