Lakhs of candidates from across the country have submitted their applications against the 4208 posts. If you are one of the candidates who have submitted the application for the recruitment of Constable under the RPF between 15 April and 14 May 2024, then you can check your application status and know whether your application has been accepted or not.
The RPF Constable Application Status 2024-25 has been released on the official website of the RRB Apply. To check the status, applicants need to provide their login credentials which are their email address and password. All applicants must know here that only those candidates will be allowed to appear in a CBT exam whose application has been accepted.

- Go to the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board (Apply), which is accessible at rrbapply.gov.in/.
- Find an option related to tha‘ Application Status for RPF Constable Recruitment 2024-25,’ tap on it and go to the login web page.
- Now, you need to enter your E-mail addresses and password, and hit the Submit button.
- After the successful login, you will successfully have checked that your application is (i) Provisionally accepted, (ii) Provisionally accepted with conditions, or (iii) Rejected (Along with reasons for rejection).

RPF Constable Exam Date
There are two stages for recruitment to the post of constable under the Railway Protection Force, first is CBT and second is Physical Efficiency Test. Those who have applied online for the recruitment drive can anticipate that the first stage is likely to be held in March 2025, although official confirmation in this regard is yet to be made by the RRB.
As we mentioned above, the number of applicants against 4208 vacancies of Constable is in lakhs, so it is possible that the exam will be held on different dates for different regions. According to some reliable media sources the CBT may last for about two or three weeks, all the applicants will be able to check the exact date, timing, and venue of their exam on their admit card.
RPF Constable Exam Pattern
The online exam for recruitment to the post of Constable under the Railway Protection Force by the Railway Recruitment Board will be conducted with a time duration of 90 minutes. A total of 120 multiple-choice questions will be asked in the exam from different subjects, the details of which are given below.
- General Awareness: 50 MCQs
- Basic Arithmetic: 35 MCQs
- General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability: 35 MCQs
Each question asked in the RPF Constable exam will be of 1 mark and 1/3 marks will be deducted in case of wrong answer. The medium of the exam will be English and Hindi or regional language.
RPF Constable Physical Test Details
After the RPF Constable CBT is conducted by the RRB, the qualified candidates will be called for the physical test, which has two stages: first is Physical Standard Test and second is Physical Efficiency Test. Those who qualify for the first stage will have to participate in the second stage, whose details are given below.
PST (Height and Chest Requirements)
Height:
- UR/OBC: Male – 165 cm; Female – 157 cm
- SC/ST: Male – 160 cm; Female – 152 cm
- Special Categories (e.g., Gorkhas): Male – 163 cm; Female – 155 cm
Chest (only for males):
- UR/OBC: 80 cm (expanded to 85 cm)
- SC/ST: 76.2 cm (expanded to 81.2 cm)
PET Requirements
For Male Candidates
- 1600 meters run: Complete within 5 minutes 45 seconds
- Long jump: 14 feet
- High jump: 4 feet
For Female Candidates
- 800 meters run: Complete within 3 minutes 40 seconds
- Long jump: 9 feet
- High jump: 3 feet
