The Computer-Based Test for recruitment to the post of Sub Inspector in the Railway Protection Force was conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board on 2, 3, 9, 12, and 13 December 2024. It was conducted against 452 vacancies in which the number of candidates participating is in lakhs, results for which will be released very soon.
Those who have participated in the first stage of the selection process for appointment of SI in the RPF are eagerly waiting for the release of the result. As the examination is conducted online, it is likely that the process of evaluation of the response sheet will be completed by the last week of January 2025 and the result will be released in February 2025.
The result will be released on the various regional websites of the RRB in the form of a merit list. After the declaration of the result, all the candidates will be able to check their qualifying status by downloading the PDF. On this, the roll numbers of only those candidates will be available who have passed the CBT and will be eligible to participate in the PST/PET.

After the result of the RPF Sub Inspector Online Exam 2024-25 is released by the Railway Recruitment Board, the direct link to download the merit list will be activated by us in the table given below. Only those candidates will be declared successful in the first stage of the selection process, whose marks obtained will be equal to cut off marks or more.
How to check the RPF Sub Inspector Result?
The complete step-by-step instructions to download and check the result for the RPF SI Exam is available below.
- Go to the official website of the Railway Railway Board (Ahmedabad) at https://rrbahmedabad.gov.in/
- Lookout for an option that reads ‘CEN RPF 01/2024 (Sub Inspector),’ tap on it and go to the next webpage.
- Now, you will see an option related to the ‘List of Candidates Eligible for Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency Test,’ tap on it and download the merit list of qualified candidates.
- Open the result gazette, search your Roll Number and check that you have passed the CBT i.e. Shortlisted for be called for PST and PET or not.
Cut Off Marks
The CBT was conducted by the RRB for the recruitment of Sub Inspector under the RPF in December 2024. A total of 120 multiple-choice questions were asked in this exam, each question was of 1 mark i.e. the total weightage of the exam was 120 marks. To be declared successful in this exam, a candidate needs to score the cut off or more marks.
The cut off mark to clear the CBT will be released by the Railway Recruitment Board along with the result. The minimum requirement for different categories will be available on the last page of the merit list. As the cut off marks are yet to be released, you can check the expected cut off for different categories from below.
- UR (Unreserved): 72-77 marks
- OBC (Other Backward Classes): 65-72 marks
- SC (Scheduled Castes): 60-67 marks
- ST (Scheduled Tribes): 57-65 marks
- EWS (Economically Weaker Sections): 65-72 marks
- PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities): 50-60 marks
What after the RPF SI Result?
Candidates who have participated in the CBT held for recruitment of SI under the RPF should know that the qualified candidates will be called for the Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency Test.
